Development priorities the Poltava region in the context of social security

Conceptual bases forming regional social security based on its development diagnosis were suggested. Threats to social security at the level of the state and region have been revealed. The socio-economic development of the Poltava region was analyzed. It was proved that the necessary condition for ensuring a high level of social security in the region is to convey a reasonable regional social policy, taking into consideration the social standards increase. Priority fields of the Poltava region’s development in the context of social security were determined.
