MODE TO YIELD A SECOND CROP YIELD BY LOPPING OFF VEGETATIVE BRANCHES OF WATERMELON AND MELON

Abstract
Results of conducted research work enabled to determine that in the first variant with no lopping-off, there was obtained a crop yield of the melon ? 187.5hwt / ha, and for the watermelon ? 220.4 hwt / ha, whereas in the variant when, after harvesting the first crop yield, branch lopping-off was conducted, harvested crop made 277.6 hwt / ha for the melons and 330.2 hwt / ha for the watermelon which made respectively 48.0 % and 49.8 % increase compared to control variant.
