Abstract
The article presents research results of clinical laboratory features of exogenic toxic hepatitis caused by intoxication from substitute of alcohol, aiming at optimization of its treatment. For this pathology intermittent course with debilitate skin itch and intrahepatic cholestasis is characteristic. An increase in dosis of Prednisolone, Ursosan and plasmapheresis sessions do not give the expected result. The addition of metabotropic medication, L-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylate (Metadoxil) to the standard detoxication therapy allows increase in treatment efficiency and decrease length of treatment.
