Abstract
The subject of the article is to research problems of efficiency of use of labor resources as socio-economic categories. The article suggested the findings and suggestions for solving some problems of efficient use of labor resources in the labor market of Ukraine. The results of the work. The research of basic problems of efficient use of labor resources in Ukraine was conducted. The analysis of related with labor resources categories of the work force, economic activity and employment was accomplished, and provided suggestions for more effective use of them in the labor market. Results of research can be used by all stakeholders, including organs of State executive power in improving the mechanisms for the implementation of socio-economic policy, employment and State regulation of the labor market of Ukraine. The conclusions. 1. Over the last decades in the national economy have developed imbalances that delay the introduction of market mechanisms of management and efficient use of labor resources. 2. Basis of selection mechanisms of regulation of the labor market and increase the efficiency of use of labor resources should be assigned the following requirements: the unity of goals, objectives and capacities to implement the conceptual activities; predictions of social consequences in different spheres of activity; complexity in solving the set tasks; consistency of measures at national, regional, local level and level of individual entities; their sufficient economic and social efficiency, etc.
