BIOENERGY AS A NEW STIMULUS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGROINDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND PROVIDING ENERGY SECURITY FOR REGIONS OF UKRAINIAN POLISSYA

The subject of the work is the analysis of energy security of the regions of Ukrainian Polissya. The aim of the article is to investigate the threat to the energy security of the regions of Ukrainian Polissya and the development of ways to overcome it through the effective use of bioenergy potential of these regions. Methodology of the work. This work was prepared on the basis of the analysis of the current energy security situation of the regions of Ukrainian Polissya and the state as a whole. The comparison is made concerning with the involvement of bioenergy technologies in Ukraine and the European Union. The statistical data are processed concerning with the implementation and use of bioenergy technologies in Ukraine within the last few years. Results of the work. A necessity to create the new energy strategy for Ukraine, in particular Ukrainian Polissya regions is defined, where the significant role is provided to the bioenergy. Due to the fact that the regions of Ukraine have differences in the availability and range of bioenergy resources, the determination of the economic appropriateness for the use of such resources for Polissya regions is the priority. After the analysis of the bioresources that are optimal for implementation in the domestic fuel and energy complex, a special emphasis is placed on the energy willow as one of the key elements of bioenergy independence of Ukrainian Polissya regions. The basis for this choice has been the natural conditions and resources and the economic situation of these regions. The end result of the implementation of bioenergy technologies, in particular the energy willow, includes many positive aspects, the key aspect of which is the increase of energy independence and economic security of Ukrainian Polissya regions and the state as a whole. Area of the results using: the use of the research results in the area of economic security of the state, and the economic sciences, in particular the regional economy. Conclusions. Currently the level of economic and energy security of the state is quite low, thus the maximum production and use of biological resources, with the involvement of the low fertile lands in Ukrainian Polissya shall help to reduce the dependence of the state and its regions from the expensive imported energy materials that in its turn shall help to strengthen the level of energy and economic security of both Ukrainian Polissya regions and the state as a whole.
