Abstract
The article is concerned with the determination of lineament of subsidence crater that appears when loading independent footings and causes occasional yield of the adjacent building foundations and structures. Model experiments have been conducted in the laboratory flume. The research data make it possible to enhance the reliability of footing in the design.
