Abstract
The methodology of probabilistic assessment of high-pressure steel-liner reinforced concrete penstocks with double reinforcement as a part of the system reliability theory is proposed. The problem solved by the method of statistical tests (Monte Carlo). The example of calculating of failure probability of the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP steel-liner reinforced concrete penstock is presented.
