ON MERCHANDIZERS LEASE IN SUZDAL ACCORDING TO THE CENSUS GAVEL WORK BOOK OF 1682

The article deals with the lease relations concerning retail facilities among craftsmen of Suzdal in the end of 17th century. According to census book of 1682, the main features of lease and rent of trade gavel work facilities in Suzdal are determined. The examples of Moscow, Kolomna and Kashira experience along with the Suzdal materials give an opportunity to consider lease as an element of development process of commodity-money relations in town conditions in the period of Russian late middle ages.
