Abstract
The dynamics of oil crops production in Ukraine for the past 20 years has been performed. The analysis of major meteorological parameters for the conditions of Left-Bank Forest-Steppe Ukraine has been done. During the period of 1995-2015, the hydrothermal moisturizing index (HTI) has been found to decrease in comparison with the average perennial (1.21) index up to 1.01, indicating the formation of the conditions typical for central regions. The existing trends in meteorological parameters have been established to determine the expansion of the range of oil crops growing (sunflower, soy and mustard), thereby increasing the nationwide production of oil seeds.
