Abstract

Finite element method developed models and design analysis conducted open bulging profiled punches with different angle of the cone. The deforming surface of the punch formed by the intersection of the circles of constant diameter and angled at an equal pitch. Shaping cold subject tubular blanks of stainless steel 12X18H10T. Determined efforts bulging, the final shape and dimensions of deformed workpieces, stress-strain state and the degree of resource utilization plasticity in them. Set the cone angle of the punch, which provides maximum bulging ratio.
