Abstract
It is shown that edged tools made of superhard materials are still the most problematic ones when machining. Recently, tool materials with nanostructure have appeared, so their processing requires a special approach. A comprehensive approach to the process of sharpening of edged tools made of these materials is proposed. The problems related to improving the efficiency of sharpening of edged tool in multipart devices are considered.
