SOME FEATURES OF TRANSFORMATIONS USED BY K. NURMAKHANOV’ TRANSLATION OF CH. AYTMATOV’S NOVEL "JAMIL"

In this article the work of the famous Kazakh critic Kalzhan Nurmakhanov is considered. He is author of many works on literary translation of number of national literature works of the former Soviet Union, who was conversant with achievements in world theory of translation, well knew foreign literature and, as a result, in perfection mastered creative methods of high art of literary translation. K. Nurmakhanov as critic made a powerful contribution to development of mutual Kazakh-Kyrgyz literary translation. In the given article, the lexical and syntactic transformations applied at the translation of Ch. Aytmatov’s novel "Jamil" into the Kazakh language are analyzed.
