DEVELOPMENT OF SCALE TO MEASURE STUDENT’S ATTITUDE TOWARDS GEOGRAPHY

Abstract
This paper describes the development and validation process of the scale to measure student's attitude towards geography. The attitude scale measures the students' attitude towards geography on six different domains: 1) Enjoyment in geography; 2) People and places; 3) Geography contribution; 4) Curriculum transaction; 5) Geography Teacher; 6) Career interest in geography. The scale was administered on 100 students of class 12th. The 55 items have been developed on the above mentioned domains.
