Abstract
Fundamental investigating of hemorrhoids etiology and development of anatomic reasonable methods of its surgical treatment were carried out in the 30-40th years of the XX century in England (Milligan a. oth.). It was shown later that arterial blood can stream from venous hemorrhoidal bolus that is connected with special, cavernous structure of straight intestine veins. These researches remain fundamental and the main issues of pathogenesis and treatment of hemorrhoids are solved, and constantly news publications concern only separate details and are most often advertising of new rectal suppositories, or attempts of introduction in hemorrhoids surgery modern technical devices that, in our opinion, quite often only complicates surgery and does not improve its results.
