THE ASSESSMENT OF ELASTIC CANTILEVER PLATE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF LOAD DISTRIBUTED ALONGSIDE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL THEORY

Abstract
The solution is described for transmission of quadrangular elastic cantilever plate (rigidly restrained along one of its long sides) of constant thickness and width under the influence of lateral load fixed according to parabolic law along the line parallel to restraint line. The problem solutions of plate flexure using various computing environments, basing on two-dimensional theory are presented. The analytical method is proved to provide the high accuracy of calculations in the framework of two-dimensional setting and models described by two environments (Maple11 and two-dimensional model ANSYS 11.0) can be considered equivalent.
