Abstract
Now the collection of the Almaty zoo contains 32 species of birds of prey, many of which are included in the Red data book of Kazakhstan. And the issue of preservation of birds both in specific variety, and in number, is actual. The saker falcon, golden eagle, sea eagles are objects of the international programs of cultivation of rare species of birds and are of special interest. As a result of researches it was revealed that survival percent of saker falcon’s baby
birds (Falco cherrug G.) is made more than 40%.
