Dynamic Analysis of an Automobile Suspension System

ABSTRACT In this paper presented the analysis of automobile suspension system by considering the passive one. Matlab simulink and Simscape are used for this analysis. Displacement and velocity characteristics have been studied for seat, sprung mass and unsprung masses. A mathematical model is also developed for the suspension system. Compared the results of MATLAB simulink and Simscape tools and proved that the both are very useful and easy methods for studying the dynamic response of automobile suspension system.
