Abstract
The implementation of new educa-tional standards in the practice of pre-school educational institutions and verification of their effectiveness are possible only under condition of receiving feedback. This feedback can be pro-vided by the system of teacher’s professional competence assessment on the basis of evaluating the pedagogical work results. Such system will ensure the assessment of educational system effi-ciency and prediction of its further development. The search for optimal ways of forming the pre-school education teachers’ professional compe-tence under the conditions of continuing profes-sional education requires clarification of the con-cept system.This article describes one of the approaches to developing the system of evaluating the quality of teacher’s professional competence. The purpose of this article is to describe the theoretical ap-proaches to developing the models of teacher’s professional competence assessment on the base on the current regulatory framework of the edu-cation system.
