CANINE HEPATOCELULLAR CARCINOMA: A CASE REPORT

Abstract
To show the case of a canine patient, with liver disease, associated to hepatocelullar carcinoma. It was studied the case of a canine pittbull breed patient 10 years old, when it was diagnosed disorders in hepatic tissue with histopatological diagnosis of hepatocelullar carcinoma, abdominal distension (ascites) and depression. Once done physical examination and paraclinical examinations, the pathology demonstrated the presence of liver tumors associated with hepatocelullar carcinoma. Hepatocelullar carcinoma is a pathological entity of rare presentation, clinically arises with very similar signs to other liver tumor, its diagnose is based on histopatological basis.
