Abstract
The adequacy of risk assessment within the application of the bonus ? malus factor for compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners is investigated. This paper presents the results of the research on the impact of the bonus -malus system on the total amount of premiums on contracts of compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners in Ukraine, as well as analysis of the correlation between classes of bonusmalus and frequency of the insured event. The analysis is based on the real data of the insurance Motor TPL market of Ukraine.
