Abstract
The paper analyzes basic indicators of innovative activity of sugar enterprises during the study period. The study presents basic factors that prevent the innovative development of sugar industry enterprises. The economic assessment is made as to various schemes of processing sugar beets for sugar and ethanol production for maximization of economic benefit. The evidence reveals importance of sugar and ethanol producrion combination in terms of the sugar enterprises to provide their socio-economic activity stabilization.
