The growth of the population’s financial literacy: inter- national experience

The international experience of providing financial literacy programs has been studied; schemes and financial literacy programs in 28 countries of the EU, the U.S., the Netherlands, the African countries, Kenya and Australia are analyzed. It is emphasized that proper level of the population’s financial literacy will pro- mote not only improving the living standards of citizens, but will also produce a positive effect on the state of finan- cial services market and promote investment processes in the national economy.
