Abstract
This article provides the findings of the research aimed at the quality improvement of raw cotton. For this purpose, at the facilities of Zharkurgan cotton ginning plant in Sirdaryo Region the released At-Termiziy-4 selection variety of raw cotton has been processed in four versions with different initial humidity parameters, following which the physical and mechanical properties of the fibre were examined and the optimal manufacturing processes to obtain a quality raw material for ginning plants were suggested.
