THE STATE EXISTS NOT FOR THE FACT THAT THE EARTH WAS A PARADISE, BUT IN ORDER TO AVOID HELL

The paper examines the causes of state formation and theories explaining its origin. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the Patriarchal, democratic, irrigation, contractual, Marxist, race, sports and the theory of violence. Substantiates the need for the existence of the state. Provides the features of a modern state, differenziata its exterior (to protect the country from other countries, mutually beneficial cooperation with other States in political, economic, social and other spheres of activity) and internal (social, economic, political, legal, organizational and cultural-educational function. Summarizes the impossibility of the existence of the citizen and its inter-linkages with other social and political actors outside the state.
