RECEPTION OF THE CONCEPTS OF "RELIGION" AND "SPIRITUALITY" IN THE WEST EUROPEAN PSYCHIATRY: THE NATURE AND MAIN FEATURES

The article is devoted to the search of optimal ways of interaction between religion and psychiatry. In the work, based on a number of English scientific sources in detail describes the current state of the relationship between religion and psychiatry, discusses the definitions of religiosity and spirituality of the individual, and provides practical recommendations for the use of religious and spiritual factors in order to improve the efficiency of the processes of prevention, diagnosis, treatment of mental disorders and rehabilitation of patients with psychiatric profile.
