FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF MACHINERY FOR THE PROTECTION OF FRUIT PLANTATIONS IN THE MOUNTAIN AND FOOTHILL GARDENING

The paper presents the analysis of peculiarities of gardening in the conditions of sloping land. The necessity of developing a common methodology and scientific bases of designing a new generation of technology adapted to the climatic and economic conditions of fruit production in a specific area. Identifies the main technological requirements to the technical means for the protection of fruit plantations in the mountain and foothill gardening from adverse weather factors, diseases and pests.
