Abstract
The article is devoted to the important phenomenon of "site-specific" theatre. The specificity of these performances lies in the delegation of the functions of staging space in which the action is carried out. It necessary to note the lack of fundamental works in the Russian language covering the "site-specific" theater, therefore, is to highlight the scientific novelty and actuality of this investigation that may be theoretical support for theater Directors and Directors of public events that use the principles of "site-specific" theatre in his productions. Also, the absence of works, and therefore the terminology in the Russian language resulted in the fact that this article uses authentic terminology, which in the purity of their sound reveals the maximum of the essence of this phenomenon. The feature of this article is a detailed disclosure of the essence of the concept of "site specific theatre" and the desire of the author to trace the emergence of this genre in European art Russian realities. This problem is poorly understood and requires further research.
