AGROMETEOROLOGICAL JUSTIFICATION OF NEED FOR AN IRRIGATION AND PROTECTION OF FRUIT PLANTINGS IN MOUNTAIN GARDENING

In work soil climatic conditions of conducting mountain gardening in the North Caucasus for the purpose of justification of need of carrying out an irrigation and protection of fruit plantings are analysed. It is shown that the territory of this region is substantially subject to influence of various adverse meteorological factors having harmful effect on development of fruit plantings. It is shown that the most effective way of protection of fruit crops against droughts, hot dry winds, frosts and thaw is overhead irrigation
