ANALYSIS OF THE CALENDAR TERMS OF SOWING OF MAIZE UNDER DIFFERENT SOIL AND CLIMATIC CONDITIONS

This paper analyzes the influence of the sowing time of maize on the length of the growing season, germination, number of leaves, susceptibility of diseases, etc. Shows that most of the researchers took into account soil and climatic conditions of a particular area, however, insufficient attention was paid to subspecific and varietal characteristics of maize and their response to sowing date.
