Abstract
The article analyzes the financial condition of the burghers in the towns of Tomsk province of the Russian Empire pre-reform period. The author raised a question of material well-being as the household of the burghers, namely, the quality and quantity of their homes. Also, the statistics on this option as home ownership among townspeople in the city of Tomsk.
