JUSTIFICATION OF A WAY AND TECHNICAL TOOL FOR SNOW RETENTION IN THE CONDITIONS OF KABARDINO-BALKAR REPUBLIC

In work the existing methods and technical means for snow retention in relation to soil climatic conditions of Kabardino-Balkar Republic are analysed. It is shown that mechanical snow retention is one of the most effective methods. The method of snow retention and the constructive and technological scheme of the device for its implementation is reasonable.
