Abstract
The effect of hydrophobized limestone-sandy rocks on the properties of coating materials based on white Portland cement has been studied. The introduction of up to 6% of hydrophobized limestone has proven to have a beneficial effect on their waterproofing properties. It is assumed that a higher content of hydrophobized limestone deteriorates hydration process of cement minerals and thereby reduces the strength of the hardened stone.
