The article shows that Bible contains the ancient miscellany of prophylactic medicine, which includes problems of epidemiology, hygiene, infectious diseases, valeology, narcology, dietology. Importance of that information is completely confrmed by modern science. It is noticed that importance of physical, mental and spiritual health unity was mentioned in Bible for the frst time in history among with role of higher nervous activity and stress in pathogenesis. It is shown that Bible declared principles of healthy lifestyle, prophylaxis of congenital diseases and diseases of internal organs for ages.
