THE VERB TO RESET / TO RESET THE VALUE TO ‘SHAKE SOMETHING’: 1. THE SUBJECT

This article considers the problem of semantic actants and semantics of the verb to reset / to reset the value to ‘shake something’ in the constructions of modern Russian language. The paper examines and describes the syntax of this verb lexical-semantic group "of physical impact to the object detected by the method of continuous and partial selections in fiction and non-fiction texts of the modern Russian language. Revealed the names of the different thematic classes in the subject position with the verb. The results obtained and reproduced in this work, rich illustrative material can be used in the practice of compiling dictionaries
