Abstract
Value education means inculcating a sense of humanism, a deep sense of concern for the well-being of others and the mankind. It develops social, moral, aesthetic, and spiritual aspects of a person. Normally these aspects of the students’ personality are often undermined. It teaches us to preserve whatever is good and worthwhile in what we have inherited from society, culture, environment and other sources. It helps us to accept and respect the attitude and behavior of those who differ from the student. It does not mean value imposition or indoctrination. It has the capacity to transform the diseased mind into a very sharp, brilliant, innocent, sensitive mind.
