Test of scale Parameter of the two-parameters exponential distribution using Ranked set sampling

The testing of the scale parameter of the 2-parameter exponential distribution was considered when the two parameters are unknown. Three tests were derivedand the modified rank set sampling procedure was used one of the tests was truncated sequential test . The power functions were derived and calculations of them were reported . The truncated sequential test led to earlier decision whereby the expected value of the number of cycles was less than the number of cycles used in the fixed sample size
