INNOVATION AS A PRIORITY DIRECTION FOR RUSSIA’S SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

This article discusses innovation, as an indispensable factor for the growth of the Russian economy, and most importantly, highlights the key challenges of their implementation, which are the cause of inadequately high rates of socio-economic development. In the end, a need occurs for a further study of the problem to find the most effective ways to improve innovative institutions in the country.
