MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Background. The situation, trends and prospects of Ukrainian business are analyzed in the article. Business activities take on new meaning based on social economic and political developments in Ukraine. Working out the strategy of modern business development in Ukraine taking into account the priorities of European integration is the aim of the article. Material and methods. Data on global ranking of Ukraine among the world countries in ease of doing business, statistics data on tax incomes and taxation conditions were the material for the research. A wide range of general scientific and specialized methods of economic research were used, namely generalization, comparative, statistic, structural, system and comparison analysis, systematization and other methods. Results. The ease of doing business in Ukraine rank is determined by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation Doing Business-2014 ranking. It is established that Ukraine occuppied 112 place out of 189 countries in the world. The reasons of Ukraine lagging in business development are defined. These include lack of access to electricity, high tax rates, investor exposure and significant losses in the course of international trade. As a means of improving the competitiveness of domestic business three following models of innovation were proposed to use: active diffusion of innovations, government support of innovative forms, global cooperation. As an example of Poland, the perspective directions in the context of an innovation model development of Ukraine are defined. Conclusion. The following reserves of further business stimulation and development in Ukraine were highlighted: formation of an effective system of taxation; lending, including tax one; domestic producers stimulation within the limits allowed by the WTO; implementation of social responsibility in the practice of doing business. Thus, for effective business development in Ukraine a mechanism for effective interaction between government and the business sector must be created. For further business development it is advisable to use World Bank recommendations.
