Abstract

The problem. The basic transformation processes taking place in the global community and international economic relations were studied, their features, trends and prospects, as well as the level of participation of our country were identified. The aim of the study is the scientific substantiation of integration vectors of Ukraine in view of its economic potential and national interests in conjunction with the factors of the global economic environment and trends in contemporary transformation processes. Results. It is determined that in the future balance of power in the international arena will change: global influence of the United States and the European Union in global processes will be reduced and the impact of China and India, Brazil and others will significantly increase. It is shown that a significant consequence of this process is the interdependence between countries that must be considered when determining the integration priorities of Ukraine. Therefore, reasonably, that the main vector of integration of Ukraine should be European. It is proved that the European integration of Ukraine based on the Association Agreement and free trade zone with the European Union meets national interests. It is therefore advisable to complete the process of European integration by signing and subsequent ratification by the parliaments of all member states of the European Union the indicated Agreement. However, obtaining full membership in the European Union at the moment is untimely. The conclusions. It's emphasized that Ukraine should further diversify its trade and economic relations especially through the development of foreign economic ties with Russia as a key strategic partner of Ukraine and other member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the basis of the Agreement on free trade, but not the framework type, like the one that recently has been concluded, a full agreement on the principles of the World Trade Organization, without exceptions and limitations. The need for further development and integration of other vectors: Asian, American and African has been bubstinated.
