INTERNET RESOURCES AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTOR AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Abstract

Background. Modern teachers constantly face the problem of the impact of the global information network during seminars and workshops. Traditional forms of training are often ineffective. Teaching science and practice, in turn, do not stand still, seeking ways to improve the quality of education in general and teaching process in particular. In this context, consideration of the prospects, opportunities and changes that Internet brings into contemporary high school is one of the urgent tasks of pedagogy and psychology. Analysis of recent sources and publications. The problem of the role and importance of the Internet in the educational activity appeared along with the global spread of modern computer technology to Ukraine, so it is about nine or ten years. The last five years account to its active research in the teaching science, but many aspects remain poorly understood. In turn, the introduction of innovative methods of education is of general interest of practitioners of different areas. Methodological development and research in this area have received considerable spread. The purpose of thе article is analysis of the Internet impact on the quality of higher education in Ukraine and identifying possible means to prevent negative impact of its widespread implementation in the classroom. Results. The paper states that the emergence of the Internet has changed the very form of social space. At the present stage of technology development is inappropriate to talk about the use or non-use of the Internet in the classroom. Logic is a study of specific and opportunity of the web. Given this, the problem of a learning process arises rather sharp and requires focused technology development of pedagogical work using Internet resources. This approach allows not only not to lose the quality of student learning, but also to raise it in the learning process. In today's pedagogical process Internet should not substitude the teacher, but become an instrument of planned, deliberate and thorough training, because the quality of education is determined not only by the number of acquired knowledge, but also the development of specific skills that are an important prerequisite for future careers and leading among these is the free use of Internet resources. Conclusions. Thus, the analysis of the specific impact of the Internet on the quality of higher education in Ukraine has defined possible means to prevent the negative consequences of its widespread use in the classroom.
