Abstract
The analysis of demographic events in the Luhansk region, including in the period of the military conflict in the Donbas in 2014-2015. In particular, the dynamics of marriages and divorces on the basis of which is installed corresponding changes in the marriage structure of the population of the region. The priority tasks of the state policy on strengthening of the family institution.
