Abstract
In this paper we generalize the concept of quasi-coincident of an intuitionistic fuzzy point with an intuitionistic fuzzy set and define (q_{k})^{*}-intuitionistic fuzzy ideals of hemirings and characterize different classes of hemirings by the properties of these ideals.
