Abstract
In this study, the differential equation characterizations of constant breadth timelike curves are given in the Minkowski 4-space E04. Furthermore, a criterion for a timelike curve to be a curve of constant breadth in E04 is introduced. As an example, the obtained results are applied to the case that the curvatures k1, k2, k3 are constants and are discussed.
