Abstract
With the increasing number of sales in all the segments during last few years, the automobile industry of India has came out of the global recession with a firm commitment. The passenger car (PC) industry of India has been steadily growing on both domestic and export front by becoming greener. There are some hard pressing factors that lead the automobile industry of India into green. In this paper an attempt has been made to understand the factors responsible for the change in dynamics of the Indian automobile industry
