Abstract
An experiment was conducted in pot condition to screen 16 castor varieties for resistance against root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita. Out of 16 varieties screened six varieties GC-3, 48-1, DCS-9, MCI-5, MCI-8 and MCI-3 were found resistant by producing 10.00, 3.33, 5.00 and 8.00 galls per plant and eight varieties were found moderately resistant.
