Abstract
Correlation and path Coefficient were studied in ten Tomato genotypes. The correlation coefficients were determined to find out the inter relationship among the characters studied. Yield per plant had strong positive association with primary branches per plant, number of fruits per plant, number of locules per fruit, fruit size and seeds per fruit, which indicated that yield, could be increased by improving a traits. Path analysis revealed that fruit size had maximum direct positive effect on yield, followed by number of fruits per plant, number of locules per fruit, seeds per fruit and primary branches per plant. These traits were considered important in the selection programme for yield improvement in tomato
