Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of humanization of teacher professional training by foreign (Greek) and domestic scientists. It has been proved that the idea of harmonic human development of the personality appeared in the antiquity and in Kievan Rus, respectively. However, the issues of humanization of education as a whole and the issues of pedagogical education in particular have not lost the topicality nowadays. The training of the reflective teacher has a special significance among new tasks both in Ukraine and Greece. The reflective teacher is a person who is apt to constant development, perfection, self-assessment, changes, creative search and professional independence. Reflective teachers form the aims of their activity and also throroughly realize the responsibility for the upbringing of younger generation.
