Abstract
This paper is set to develop a conceptual framework of global Human Resource strategies and practices in companies and how these strategies can be implemented in Indian software companies. Using data from several researchers, this paper will provide an insight and guidance into the causes, strategic prospects, and limitations in Human Resource policies and practices in software companies in India. Human Resource practices refer to those strategies human resource managers applies in order to affect success of an organization. Human Resource programs are implemented for and experienced by lower-level employees and managers. Therefore, Human Resource practices capture the potential for variation in employees’ perceptions and experiences.
