SOCIO-ECONOMIC LIFE STYLE OF THE HO TRIBE: A CASE STUDY IN MAYURBHANJ DISTRICT OF ODISHA

This paper established the Socio-economic life style of the Ho tribe. Their main occupation is agricultural activities and their economic activities are agriculture, animal husbandry, forest resources, handcraft and handloom and seasonal migrations. The data was collected from 60 respondents in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Primary data were gathered through personal interviews, observations, and indirect methods, including informal discussions with government employees
