Regional aspects of the development of agricultural education in Ukraine

Territorial and economic zoning is an important factor of the government of a state organization. Currently, there are several options for territorial and economic zoning of Ukraine. The objective of the article is to analyse the territorial and economic regions of Ukraine in terms of professional training in agricultural universities. The analysis of the territorial and economic regions of Ukraine is based on the model proposed by scientists of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv P. Masliak and P. Shyschenko. The authors consider zoning in the terms of training of future agrarians, including the provision with higher agrarian educational institutions, the percent of students of higher educational institutions as to the population and human resourcing. On the basis of analysis the authors make suggestions to enhance the training of future specialists in certain areas.
